This Saturday…(cinco de drinko) I am performing. In NoHo. If you know what’s good for you you’ll be there ;)

In 18 days my life will be so complete, at least for one weekend. I will sing and dance around like a fool or a professional (however you choose to look at it) and no one will think anything of it. I cannot express how excited I am for my first time in the desert!

Merry Christmas from me and my roommates in Newport Beach, CA!

Now’s the time of year, i miss my family and friends back home the most.  Regardless, i do get to return home for about a week to share in the holiday fun and love, it’s just not the same as being there for all of the shopping, lights, present wrapping, cold-snowy nights and more. However, i cannot begin to express how much the people that i have met since moving to CA have changed my life for the better!  I am still the same person i have always been, but theres a new found glory in meeting people who have also made the bold move across the continental US to pursue dreams, start new careers or simply make a life change.  Making this last year and a half work, the best that I could, has been a struggle to say the least…definitely not easy.  Most everyone has said, “give your time here at least a year before you start to feel settled” and boy, are they right. But i can confidently say that I owe a large part of my staying in CA and current feeling of “settled” to the amazing friends and extended family here!  For your love and support I am truly grateful and will forever be in debt to you for pushing me to continue following my dreams!  I love you all! 

But there’s “No Place Like Home” and I can’t wait to be back in the Hoosier state in only 9 days!  SO EXCITED!
